Organised by the European Commission Office in Northern Ireland, the Euro Quiz is open to all post-primary schools. Teams are made up of pupils from Years 8, 9 and 10. It is designed to be a fun and exciting way of helping pupils learn, stimulate their interest in Europe and bring together their knowledge across a whole range of curriculum areas. The Grand Final will be broadcast live so all schools can play along – and the final will also be available on-demand to be used as a teaching resource, throughout the year.
There will be five regional heats within the competition this year. With a maximum of 10 teams per heat it is important that you register now. The two teams with the highest scores at each heat will go forward to battle it out in the Grand Final to decide the overall winners of the competition!
